It seems like life has come to a screeching halt in the last several weeks due to Covid-19, doesn’t it? The virus making the rounds across the globe has drastically changed so many aspects of our day-to-day, leaving many of us feeling shell-shocked and uncertain. However, in spite of these developments, a number of employees are able to continue business as usual by limiting face time and working from home—including many pharma and med reps and their clients.
If you’re a rep trying to navigate the new normal of Covid-19, we at CaterSquad want you to know we’re still here for you. Just because virtual meetings are becoming mainstream doesn’t mean you can’t still provide high-quality catered meals to your clientele! We’re always on deck to help you select the perfect breakfast or lunch to send their way, even when they’re social distancing at the office.
Besides keeping up our regular services, CaterSquad is also staying in the know about which restaurants are continuing operations, which are offering boxed lunches, and which have limited their menus. With our insider knowledge, we’ll confidently select restaurants that can meet your needs during this challenging time. This way, you don’t have to spend valuable time researching who’s open and who’s not.
It’s understandable, too that right now your catering orders may not look like they normally do—and we’re prepared for that! If you need fewer orders or individually packaged meals, our delivery partners are poised to handle these shifts.
And as for our popular cash back program? Yep, we’re still offering 6% back in gift cards to your favorite retailers like Amazon, Target, Sephora and more.
Continuing to provide catering for virtual meetings maintains a meaningful connection with your clients—so don’t miss out on the opportunity to continue your professional relationships through this service. Remember, too, that while so many small pleasures have been curtailed, a good meal is something your clients may look forward to all the more.
Addressing Safety Concerns
If you have questions about food safety during this time, you’re not alone. Your health (and the health of your clients) is extremely important to us at CaterSquad, and we understand that the safe handling of food is a major concern right now. We’re actively taking precautions to ensure that our drivers, customers, and catering partners follow procedures that will keep you and your clients well.
According to the Food and Drug Administration, there is currently no evidence of transmission of Covid-19 associated with food or food packaging. Even so, our delivery partners have assured us they’re directing drivers to be especially vigilant about food safety. Delivery personnel are being instructed to follow the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Restaurant Association for preventing the spread of the coronavirus. This may include advising drivers to wash their hands upon arrival and departure from each of their stops, as well as encouraging drivers to wipe down all delivery equipment after each use. And, of course, our partners continue to follow local food safety standards.
Rest assured that, during the challenges of Covid-19, CaterSquad is doing our part to take the work out of keeping your clients well-fed—and help you keep your rockstar status as a provider of amazing meals.
